The all-digital 2620KL is engineered with enhanced safety features to ensure a comfortable weighing experience for patients who use wheelchairs. Following Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance, the dual ramps adhere to a 1:8 slope ratio. The ramps and extra-large 32 x 40 platform feature a 2 edge protection to prevent roll-offs, and anti-slip caution tape on the ramps provide enhanced safety. The platform folds for storage, and built-in casters are included for added convenience and mobility. The scale has a weight capacity of up to 1,000 pounds (454 kilograms). Designed to meet U.S. Access Board Standards, the 2620KL is ideal for doctor’s offices, hospitals, clinics, and acute or long-term care facilities. Additional features include an antimicrobial keypad, a swiveling display head with 180° rotation, and a large non-skid platform. ADA Compliant 2620KL Wheelchair Scale, Designed to Meet the US Access Boards Standards: Medical facilities operated by state and local governments, also known as public entities, must comply with the MDE Standards for Accessible Medical Diagnostic Equipment, which is enforced by the Department of Justice.
